- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in virtualization or cloud native architectures in a customer-facing role.
- 10 years of experience designing architectural solutions and recommending operational practices.
- Experience performing technical presentations or public speaking.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience advising or driving efforts involving organizational change.
- Experience with design patterns and migration strategies with common cultural, operational, architectural, and technical issues.
- Experience with cloud-based networking, security, infrastructure, and databases.
- Experience with data platform structures and approaches, AI/ML techniques.
- Experience with development, deployment, and operational methodologies (e.g., coding, CI/CD, Terraform, GitOps, Development Operations, Site Reliability Engineer etc.).

As a Strategic Architect, you will drive the roadmap, mission, and strategy around transformation and innovation. You'll meet with customers to map their business objectives with technical/organizational patterns establishing an architectural and operational blueprint as the foundation for migration for growth on Google Cloud. You will collaborate with partners and internal teams to align Google solutions, services, and resources to drive customer partnership and success.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Grow the internal network with the field and executive leaders that drive focus on strategic pursuits and on achieving/celebrating success.
- Build out a propensity model that identifies key moments and situations to engage in that accelerate and positively impact the customer’s and account team’s success.
- Build a collaborative pursuit team that integrates Google Cloud products and technical expertise into a complete solution and operational approach that meets the customers business and technical needs.
- Improve the customer and Google Cloud experience by streamlining the pre to post sales process.
- Design an enablement approach and insightful metrics that will help to scale the success motions that the North America Strategic Architect team has identified and developed.
