Raytheon has an exciting opportunity in Engineering Finance for a Business Manager in support of Engineering Disciplines. This role provides financial leadership for Electrical Engineering Discipline team to drive financial objectives through value added analytics. The successful candidate is responsible for driving business objectives within Engineering with a focus on pool cost estimating relationship, labor utilization, predictable performance, and value-added analysis. The role will drive fact-based decision making, make financial recommendations and communicate effectively, while partnering with management and operating as an integral member of the team. The Discipline Business Manager leads a team of 3-4 financial analysts.

What You Will Do
Form business partner relationship with Electrical Engineering VP and LT to provide ad hoc analysis and drive a culture of financial awareness and accountability
Drive financial structure and processes for organization
Partner with the Engineering Leadership, CAM / IPT lead in preparation, analysis, review and approval of Engineering Estimate at Completion (EAC)
Review and approval of Engineering cost estimates included in bid and proposals
Drive financial objectives in overhead in development, execution and management of the annual budgets
Lead team of Engineering Finance Analysts, provide day to day supervision, timekeeping approval, and facilitate employee performance development process
Drive identification of key engineering dependencies, risks, and opportunities
Review and approve labor transfers and internal organization transfer IOTs as required
Assist with department Capital planning and execution
Assist and support the Supervisor as required
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic
Typically requires 10+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 7+ years prior relevant experience
Experience with government contracting and familiarity with the Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR)
Experience developing financial plans, forecasts, and/or analysis
Experience developing and leading high performing teams
U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in FP&A, program controls, functional finance and estimating and pricing
Experience with workforce planning and aerospace and defense development programs
Demonstrates leadership skills by having the ability to influence others through leading and guiding
Experience partnering cross functionally and influencing positive change with and without direct authority
Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable speaking in large groups and has the ability to confidently and professionally share opinions with every level of management
Experience with the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process
Strong track record of delivering exceptional results to customers
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and empowering teams to solve problem in a manner consistent with Raytheon values
