- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience building business intelligence systems and tools at cloud services providers.
- 4 years of experience in application development.
- 2 years of experience in sales planning and strategy.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience driving large-scale change initiatives with pre-sales organizations.
- Experience with data warehousing.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and data and analytics tools (e.g., BigQuery, Looker).
- Familiarity with AI/ML services (e.g. Google Cloud AI Platform).
- Excellent problem-solving and verbal communication skills.

The APAC Customer Engineering (CE) team works with our Sales teams as technical subject matter experts. We help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, explain technical features, help customers design architectures, and problem-solve potential roadblocks. In this role, you will be part of the Strategic Programs team in the APAC CE organization, leading initiatives to boost the productivity and excellence of our Customer Engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive set of business insight tools to support various strategic initiatives within APAC Customer Engineering. Build and manage dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends, enabling data-driven decision making for sales leadership and customer engineering teams.
- Collaborate with the Global Center of Excellence for Customer Engineering to align to the global roadmap for Customer Engineering systems and tools.
- Collaborate with the APAC Strategy and Operations team to conceptualize strategic initiatives and build the data foundation and insights to support those initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML services to enhance data analysis and predictive capabilities. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in business intelligence and cloud data management.
- Document processes and procedures for data governance and platform maintenance.
