- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience coding/comprehending code in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C++, or Python), supporting mobile data network technologies (e.g., LTE, 4G, or 5G), analyzing customer issues, reviewing device/server logs, troubleshooting technical mobile network issues, advocating for customers' needs providing technical documentation, or creating playbooks.
- 2 years of experience with two or more of the following: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Machine Learning, Networking, Device/Network Interaction Protocols, or Mobile Network Issues.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in operating LTE and 5G mobile networks.
- Experience managing multiple projects and processes.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally across multiple teams.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.

- Investigate and address the root cause of mobile network issues reported by users and Quality Assurance (QA), by analyzing back-end logs and device bug reports.
- Monitor network Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify, and investigate anomalies. Develop and improve support tools for triaging and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Work with external carrier partners and OEM partners to troubleshoot network issues and improve connectivity service quality.
- Drive the collaboration with stakeholders, including third-party vendor teams, software engineering, product management, business development and QA to certify new devices, platforms, and software releases.
- Evaluate key technology directions with long-term impact for Google Fi's core and Radio Access Network (RAN) development, deployment, and operations.
