We are looking for a trainee site supervisor to join our team.
The trainee site supervisor will support the site manager in the coordination of the daily construction activities at the project site with the objective of ensuring all activities comply with project quality plan, specifications and site program.
They will support the planned activities in order to effectively use resources to meet construction program. Monitor materials, equipment and manpower on site in order to ensure that the appropriate materials are available to meet the construction program timing.
Your Responsibilities
- Reporting and daily assistance to the appointed site manager or project manager
- Safety Enforcement: Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries
- Health and Safety: Ensure all site activities comply with Health and safety regulations
- Quality reporting: Ensuring quality throughout the projects
- TBT: Toolbox talks carried out to site team
- Daily Briefings: Setting people to work ensuring coordination between all contractors
Your Profile:
- Previous experience of working within a construction environment is advantageous
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Focused on delivering results
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
- DNO authorizations are an asset
