HybridThis position is responsible for driving standardization in developing, coordinating, and aligning demand for the Cabin Products value stream business under Interiors. The individual will ensure that forecasts are visible, planned and delivering to customers’ expectations. This role will work closely with the value stream demand planners to improve demand accuracy and minimize variation. This role will also establish standard processes for demand planners to communicate with master schedulers and manufacturing plants to improve on-time delivery and inventory management. This position will coordinate demand and other market information for demand planners to develop a rolling minimum 18-month item level demand plan.
This is a hybrid role (combination of onsite and remote work) based in Winston-Salem, NC, Phoenix, AZ or Everett, WA.
May be eligible for relocation.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role will oversee and drive standardization in the activities below for the Interiors Cabin Products value stream.
Identify and develop statistical forecasts for applicable items.
Measure demand error and develop plans to minimize.
Aggregate demand plans to value stream families.
Align stability zones/time fences by family with the business.
Align with finance to ensure unit planning translates to a credible financial plan.
Facilitate the monthly demand review and participate in SIOP meetings.
Ensure demand is entered into the ERP system of record aligned to the aggregate plan.
Communicate the aggregate and detailed demand plan.
Document and communicate assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
Track and report out changes to current and incoming demand throughout the business.
Documentation and communication of customer contractual requirements.
Work with the supply team to understand constraints and opportunities.
Collaborate directly with customers to align demand to supply capabilities.
Prioritize existing orders based on quantitative and qualitative data.
Conduct scenario analysis to identify improvements to revenue, inventory, and gross margin.
This position will have responsibility across multiple sites in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. Depending on location travel could range between 25%-50%.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in supply chain management, operations, or other related degree.
Experience in demand management, operations planning/scheduling, or SIOP related functional area.
Experience participating in the SIOP process for a global industrial manufacturer.
APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP).
Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response demand planning module.
Experience with SAP, either with the ERP system, APO, and/or Business Intelligence.
Ability to travel as needed (25%-50% anticipated).

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
