The candidate selected for this role will become a member of a very dynamic and high-performing team providing data processing, analysis and reporting related to Information Security for the Enterprise. This position will serve as SME responsible for quality assurance practices for the processes, applications, data and reports produced by the team. Develops testing plans and oversees test script development and implementation to ensure appropriate level of quality assurance and validation testing is performed as part of the team's deployment processes for deliverables including metrics, manual reporting, web-based portal application and Tableau BI dashboards. This person will also work with data teams on integrity of data being on boarded. The successful candidate will possess a broad knowledge of Information systems, technologies, tools and best practices. In addition, experience with databases (SQL and Hadoop), data manipulation, and reporting is essential.
7+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience
3+ years of HP ALM experience
2+ years of information security experience
2+ years of Big Data experience
2+ years of relational database experience
Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
Experience with various types and levels of testing (e.g., unit, integration, and system testing)
Test planning and executing experience in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuest

Experience with .NET and Web based applications
Experience with Big Data Platforms as well as Unix operating system

Identifies test dependencies and Risk with requirements, scope, and application availability as well as understands dependencies between test teams
Performs complex analysis of business requirements and system specifications to drive test timelines and deliverables
Creates test plans and test cases for own projects as well as may lead and review test plans written by others
Defines high level end-to-end test scenarios / data flows
Develops and executes automated test scripts in support of functional testing
Identifies regression test cases from the functional test suite that provide adequate coverage of business critical functionality
Facilitates test support requirements including test data and test environment readiness
Coordinates and supports SIT / UAT testing and defect triage across integrated functional testing, manual and automated regression testing, and stress, performance and load teams
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: Creation of test data
Ability to identify gaps through risk based testing
Knowledge and understanding of Jira or VersionOne tool
