Meta Product Managers work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists and researchers to build products. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial Product Managers who value moving quickly. This job description represents different full-time roles across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Reality Labs.

Product Manager, Ads Responsibilities:
  • Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Understand Meta’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
  • Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for web-based products and platforms.
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and/or products.
  • Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers, while maintaining team health.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics.
  • Is the primary driver. Leads and motivates a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives, and maintains team health.
  • Drive decision-making through user insights, quantitative analysis and AB testing.
  • Lead the strategy, roadmap and execution of key initiatives and products.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years product management or related industry experience in Ads.
  • Experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution.
  • Experience in growing and scaling products.
  • Experience driving projects with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Great attention to detail coupled with experience seeing the bigger picture, prioritize competing needs and provide extreme clarity to your team and partners.
  • Proven technical and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in the following 1. Product management or product design 2. Working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones 3. Delivering technical presentations 4. Analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data 5. Gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution, and 6. Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design 7. Displaying leadership, organizational and execution skills 8. Proven communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with digital/personalized ads.
  • Experience developing social products, technologies and platforms.
  • Experience taking highly ambiguous problems and form a structured opinion on what we should do (if anything).
  • Experience with assessing external market forces (i.e. regulatory requirements, competitive pressure, shifting consumer sentiment, etc.) and incorporating into product strategy/roadmaps.
  • Experience working and influencing effectively cross-functionally and building relationships across teams, including with people outside the direct reporting chain and senior executives.
  • Experience driving innovation in scaled environments.
