Overview of Role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in sales, channels, or partnerships with experience working in a fast-paced quickly scaling organization. As a member of our Partnerships team, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the leading educational executives around the world, enabling them to deliver flexible financial opportunities to their students. You need to have strong business acumen, understand modern sales processes, top-in-class communication skills, and a strong understanding of relationship building. You will be held accountable for achieving performance targets established by the Director of Partnerships and have an opportunity to set the path for quality clients that grow long-term.


As part of the Climb Credit team, you will:

  • Use sales enablement tools (, Linkedin, Google, cold calling, etc) to prospect new potential school clients, and provide support by learning about and satisfying their needs.
  • Meet with school stakeholders to discuss and understand their goals and timelines to implementation
  • Lead potential school partner through an internal approval process
  • Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
  • Staying current on Climb product offerings and industry trends
  • Work cross functionally to ensure that appropriate collateral is up to date and relevant
  • Handle contract negotiations and successful handoff of signed clients

Your Background and Skills

  • Strong business acumen with 3-5 years in partnerships/sales roles
  • Salesforce proficiency
  • Strong experience in educational or fintech revenue teams
  • Able to sell effectively in challenging environments
  • Familiar with varying sales lifecycles
  • Strong focus on teamwork while able to perform independently
  • Critical decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously with a high level of execution
  • Willing to be the internal quarterback for getting deals across the line
  • Comfortable navigating a longer sales cycle
  • Gets excited by helping organizations understand industry spanning questions and solution-oriented behaviors
  • Able to travel if necessary (under 25% of time)
