Remote
Overview

Our ideal candidate is a talented individual who will listen, support, educate, inspire, and build connections with developers to help them succeed. You will represent the community to the company and the company to the community.

With your knowledge about the problems developers are facing, we will work together to make the best use of our products, but also third-party technologies, documentation, and other resources to make developers' lives easier.

You will represent Esri at third-party virtual and in-person events, hackathons, technical conferences, and meet-ups. You will also write code samples, present demos, record videos, write articles about a wide range of technology stacks, but also relevant, contemporary software development techniques and trends.

You will also advocate internally for the developer community's needs, working with Esri product and engineering teams to influence features and technology strategy.

We are open to applicants residing anywhere globally but can hire in the EU or US regions most quickly.

About the developer experience team

You are not alone in this. You will join an established and highly technical team that will support you. Our team is part of the engineering division and is tasked with strengthening Esri's relationship with developers. The team oversees the entire developer experience, from building educational resources and developer tools to participating in developer outreach and advocacy. We share ideas and work together. We also have access and support from the amazing engineers across different teams at Esri. In our daily work we use modern tools and methodologies such as GitHub, ZenHub, Slack, stand-up meetings,

Markdown, Gatsby, React, and CD/CI. You can check out our work and learn more about our APIs, SDKs, libraries, low-code/no-code software, and tools on developers.arcgis.com.
