Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator for GoToMarket (GTM) will report into the Sr. Salesforce Applications Mgr. and be part of the agile SFDC team responsible for all things relating to sales, partner, finance, and CPQ.  In this role, the candidate should be a results driven and team oriented resource who likes to work in two week sprints enabling business value to support the future growth of the company.  This successful candidate should possess extensive knowledge of Salesforce system administration and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  The ideal candidate should have experience with the following:

  • Administering & Maintaining: You will maintain data integrity within Salesforce.com by completing data imports and exports to and from various sources. In addition, you will recommend and complete configuration changes as requested and needed
  • User Setup: You will complete user setup activities including licensing 3rd party tools where required
  • User Support: Act a front-line support to assist users with general questions or technical challenges, troubleshoot any technical issues uncovered and assist end users in routing their requests to the appropriate resources within Business Applications, when appropriate
  • Triaging: You will be triaging incoming requests to determine if escalation to the Business Systems Analyst or Development teams is required and assist in gathering requirements for standard changes
  • GTM SFDC Agile Team: Will work in two-week sprints along with other members of the GTM SFDC team to support, enhance, and administer the Salesforce ecosystem consisting of Sales/Service Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud, and Partner Relationship Mgmt.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products
  • Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration
  • Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
  • Importing sales department leads, contacts, and other data on an as needed basis
  • Maintaining all various parts of our SFDC ecosystem, as well as building custom reports and dashboards
  • Evaluating and enabling new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support
  • Documenting business processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables
  • Enable and configure SFDC 3rd party managed applications

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in a similar environment
  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems including (but not limited to) SFDC Sales Cloud, CPQ, and PRM
  • Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
  • Knowledge of importing sales data and generating Salesforce reports
  • Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support
