If so, then the Storefront SDK Service team is where you need to be.


Our team delivers the service components of the Storefront SDK. These services underpin the Store Client App, the in-app Store SDK functionality, and the store operations within the Windows OS itself. You’ll be working closely with our Store App team, the Store OS team, first party apps, and the full range of Universal Store services teams. 


You'll help build a service that scales to service all Windows devices, working to provide high quality, high performance features with fast turnaround. You will be engaged throughout all phases of the product cycle and will be expected to drive multiple architectural and engineering designs with multiple partner teams across the division and across the company. You will be mentoring junior developers and promoting engineering excellence by providing disciplined and insightful code reviews. 


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of software engineering industry experience. 
  • Fluency in one of the following programming languages: C/C++/C#/Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of creating and maintaining high quality services and a strong desire to join and influence a sustainable, high performance culture.
  • Hands-on experience with app development and app platform marketplaces - personal or professional - is a BIG plus. 
  • Leader's mindset in ownership, agility, and accountability.
  • Teamwork spirit, open mindedness, and track record of high performance.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for software development.
  • Solid oral and written communications skills
  • Great coding skills and the ability to coordinate with your PM and Quality peers.
  • Good organizational skills and an eye for details.
  • A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
