Our team is looking for an skilled to build data products that collect and gather key insights from product telemetry, and help us make smarter data driven decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be in data engineering (collection and transformation of data), data analysis (applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis), and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products.
Identifies unique opportunities to collect new data.
Designs new processes and builds large, complex data sets.
Strategizes new uses for data and its interaction with data design.
Locates new data sources, analyzes statistics and implements quality procedures.
Performs data studies of new and diverse data sources.
Conducts statistical modeling and experiment design.
Derive insights based on the data and presents them to other scientists and business managers.
Creates and validates predictive models.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Possesses a working knowledge of statistics, programming and predictive modeling.
Demonstrates excellent code writing abilities.
Has strong critical thinking skills and the ability to relate them to the products or services the company is producing.
Displays understanding of and ability to use programming languages like SCOPE, C#, and SQL.
Shows strong knowledge of basic and advanced prediction models.
Possesses a combination of creative abilities and business knowledge.
Has data mining knowledge that spans a range of disciplines.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analytics or an advanced computer programming field or equivalent experience.
1+ years of software engineer experience.
