We are the Azure Cloud Engineering Services team and we are responsible for the developer experience across the new Cloud + AI organization. This role will be responsible for leading our virtual secure access workstation and virtual developer workstation program.
We are looking for a seasoned, technical and articulate IC Principal Program Manager. This role will interact with leaders across all of Microsoft ensuring we can deliver on their requirements with a lot of executive visibility. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent leadership skills, can multi-task and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, can rapidly context switch on topics and has a deep passion for our internal engineer experience. This role requires proven history of delivery of large-scale programs or software projects.
BS or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience
2+ years building cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP)
10+ years of Program Management
A strong background of influencing others
10+ years of building and shipping software. Multi-role backgrounds PM, Developer highly sought.
Able to execute by working through others, influence without authority, and deal with ambiguity
Experience and passion for presenting technical content, including hands on demos to a technical audience.
Proven record of action oriented and self-starter
Proven ability to collaborate across teams and across levels of management. Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills
Experience of data driven insights leadership including defining KPI’s and deep analysis of customer usage data.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
