Azure is one of the fastest growing businesses at Microsoft, and one of the largest cloud providers on the planet. We are looking for a product thought leader who has a passion for open source, data and growing new businesses to join a talented, high energy team delivering some of the newest Azure Data services.

You may have heard that Microsoft loves Linux but did you know that we also love PostgreSQL, MySQL and MariaDB too? Azure Database Services for PostgreSQL and MySQL are among the latest cloud services for the Azure platform. We are working with the open source community to deliver the most scalable, most secure, most reliable, fully managed services for all popular open source databases. Using the world’s most advanced open source database technology, Azure is giving developers the choice to use their favorite open source database without the operational and administrative burden of running these databases. Azure Database Services provide built-in high availability, industry leading security and compliance, and the ability to elastically scale compute and storage independently within seconds. One of our core philosophies is to partner closely with the open source community and to contribute back to that community.

The Azure Database Services team is highly collaborative and eager to delight customers. We pride ourselves on  boldly solving problems others cannot and making Azure the best cloud for open source databases. We are data driven, customer obsessed and results oriented.
