The Membership Knowledge and Growth team in Universal Store (UST) is building a system to drive growth for the company through Engagement and Monetization, both Consumer and Commercial. Our goal is to serve the right offer, to the right customer, at the right time by creating knowledge that we use to engage with customers and manage their lifecycle across all of our products and services. Our platform aims to enhance and accelerate marketing efforts by providing partners with AI-based capabilities to manage user segments, experimentation, campaign optimization, etc.


As an Engineer in our team, you will be shipping groundbreaking services and experiences across multiple surfaces. In this position you will be expected to design, build, and validate the features that you and peers work on. You will contribute to deliver new and improved functionality to customers and partners each sprint and be responsible for ensuring that the design and implementation is of high quality, working with other engineers and program managers along the way.


As a candidate, you should ideally have the following experience/requirements:


  • 2+ years of software development experience with C#/.NET Framework.
  • Web services experience and knowledge of Web API/RESTful services.
  • Ability to drive technical investigations and prototyping in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Solid Object Oriented Design and problem solving skills.
  • Expertise in AI/ML is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with source control technologies like TFS or GIT.
  • Experience with scrum, Kanban, or other agile engineering techniques.
  • Strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn, share, and improve.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
