In the Computer Vision Services team, you will research and develop algorithms and systems that capture state of the art Ground Truth datasets for the fields of Environment Understanding and Human Understanding. Ground Truth datasets are the basis for machine learning algorithms and evaluating product accuracy. Imagine delivering a system that can accurately assess the accuracy of how HoloLens sees the world around us, and how well it understands our gestures as humans. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating solutions that can capture reality very accurately to enable the advancement of Computer Vision and Machine Learning Algorithms. What you’ll do: • Explore and develop algorithms and devices for generating ground truth datasets for computer vision products • Collaborate with industry experts from Analog. AI and Microsoft Research • Get hands-on experience with the latest Windows devices • Influence the team through participation in specification, design, and code reviews • Advance your knowledge in Computer Vision and new technologies and put them into practice right away Required Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience designing and developing software for consumer products or platforms • Love for technical problem solving and debugging • Excellent programming skills in C#, C++, or other languages • Familiarity with linear algebra, 3D math, or statistics • Effective oral and written communication skills • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent Preferred Qualifications • Background in one of the following: computer vision, image processing, photogrammetry, or robotics • Familiarity with Computer Graphics: GPU, DirectX, HLSL, D3D, CUDA or OpenGL • A MSc or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
