We are looking for a proven people manager and dynamic, strategic thinker who will lead a global team of ICs to deliver outstanding Launch Execution services across Microsoft. This role will interact closely with a broad and diverse set of internal stakeholders (including senior leaders across Product Marketing Teams, UST, CSE, and Operations) to drive the strategic development and ongoing management in Launch execution for Microsoft.
Managing a team with a diverse portfolio of Launch Execution work ensuring accurate, on-time and compliant Launches that maximize speed to market for Microsoft with first in class Change and Risk/Issue Management
Leading resourcing decisions as new work signals drive demand into Launch Execution, carefully balancing Capacity across the team with MS Priorities
Building & managing strong relationships with internal business groups across Microsoft to facilitate the sharing of information in order to ensure informed business prioritization and decisions making
Driving alignment across all dependent and joint groups to ensure a holistic “One Microsoft” approach to delivering Launches with the highest quality and speed to value
Driving strategic transformation initiatives, including proactively identifying and solving roadblocks in the process, in order to get ahead of changes in our business and our launch services
Driving articulate messaging and communication for Launch Execution across all levels of the organization to drive awareness, understanding and alignment on plans, roadmaps and implications
Operating as an outstanding people leader, with proven track record of attracting, retaining, and cultivating high performing talent
10 years' minimum experience in Operations, Program, or Project Management
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
BS/BA degree plus minimum eight (8) years business experience/acumen in Operations, Program Management, Process Design, System design.
A track record of exceptional partnering across a wide-array of internal business groups, executive stakeholders and execution partners with ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels
Proven impact and influence skills - ability to work broadly across disparate groups to gain agreement on direction, integrate disparate opinions into cohesive strategy/message and present/defend recommendations
Exceptional written, verbal and creative communication skills, including ability to translate insight into content, create slide or written presentations, create overall communication plans
Knowledge of Microsoft operational capabilities
Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate uncertain situations to drive for clarity; work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-speed environment
