Job Description

This an amazing opportunity to come in after we've proven early enterprise sales success. You’ll be our second sales hires and we’ll build an incredible sales machine together.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Close deals!
  • Use consultative selling techniques to tailor the Sonar solution to a customer's needs
  • Develop repeatable outbound lead generation processes
  • Coach customer stakeholders across sales, marketing and operations in order to build consensus for Sonar at their company
  • Identify and define sales processes in order to help Sonar scale our sales org
  • Help us grow our sales organization including recruiting, interviewing, and defining our strategy
  • Prospect and identify leads

  • Strategic Thinking - Identifies customer pain points, KPIs, and implicit needs in order to propose custom solutions for their problems
  • Collaboration - Works with founders, engineering, and product to create high-value solutions for customers
  • Communication - Effectively delivers presentations and product demos, tailors content and style to each customer, and writes persuasive and thoughtful email content
  • Ownership - Goes out of their way to complete a job and has relentless drive to achieve results; takes initiative with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Resourcefulness - Also known as grit
  • Workflow Management - Sets clear, realistic objectives that align to business growth; breaks each objective into component tasks that can be achieved within an aggressive but realistic timeframe
  • Detail Oriented - Lets nothing fall through the cracks. Always follows up with responses/materials on time and is punctual to meetings
Requirements
  • You've sold B2B SaaS
  • You've sold minimum committed annual contracts
  • You have at least 2 years of quota carrying, closing annual contracts. The ACV can be small, that's ok
  • You close deals every month

Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (bonus for STEM) with a strong academic track record
  • 2 to 4 years experience in a closing role leading customers through a B2B SaaS sales cycle
