As a Premier Field Engineer, you will:
Educate and guide customers by delivering workshops and webinars
Help customers with their journey to the cloud
Deliver proactive services such as risk assessments, code reviews, and disaster recovery plans
Help customers with troubleshooting and problem resolution
Be the technical expert for customer projects and deployments
Mentor other Premier Field Engineers
Contribute to business goals and continuous improvement initiatives
Travel to customer sites may be required
Relevant Characteristics and Experience for the Premier Field Engineer Role:
Professional experience in supporting Enterprise IT solutions or applications
Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010/2013/2016 and 2+ years hands-on experience in managing and supporting the product.
Strong and solid knowledge of SharePoint Online (Office 365) is an advantage
Fundamental knowledge of related technologies: Active Directory, Windows Server, Network Services and Protocols (IP, routing, DNS, …), Hyper-V, IIS, Storage solutions
Good knowledge and understanding of SQL Server
Experience in managing and troubleshooting of large and enterprise size SharePoint farms is desirable
Knowledge and experience in Project Server 2013/2016 is an advantage
Knowledge and experience of a development for SharePoint is an advantage
Knowledge of competitors' products and alternative industry solutions (IBM WebSphere, Bitrix24 …) is an advantage
Collaborative, problem solver who is creative and confident
Ability to present and communicate technical findings to all audiences
Ability to influence outcomes in ambiguous settings
Willingness and desire to learn cloud technologies
Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting IT issues
Good balance between business and technical acumen
