The Cross-Azure Marketing team is focused on telling the end-to-end Azure customer story that is competitively differentiated, backed by persuasive evidence, with the right nurture and try-to-buy opportunities. We are looking for a strong product marketing manager that can own the messaging and positioning of Azure on the web. This role will influence and enable processes to drive alignment across engineering and marketing to make Azure easier to discover, consider and evaluate. Bringing a blend of web and core product marketing, this is a highly visible role with direct impact on the business and Azure’s story on the web.

Make Azure.com the primary asset that accelerates the path from discovery to trial to purchase. This means curating value propositions, experiences, and stories that resonate with TDMs, IT Pros, and developers – surfacing what matters to them and championing that throughout their journey into the product.
Partner with core product marketing, partner marketing, integrated marketing, and engineering teams to create compelling stories and messages that strike a balance between the why and the how.
Experiment and execute on breakthrough and innovative marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively, accelerating free trials or purchase. Learn what works best by audience - product videos, customer success stories, demos, whitepapers, presentations, how to guides, and more. Share those learnings back with stakeholders so collectively we get better.
Own the process to enable experimentations and iteration on the web partnering closing with the engineering team. Define the best practices and support adoption of these processes across the broader team to grow the mindset of evolving through experimentation.
Minimum experience of 5 years in product marketing, product management or consulting for a technical product
Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science; MBA preferred
Exceptional communication skills and experience delivering customer-facing messages on complex topics in creative and compelling ways
Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
Ability to deeply assess the competition and drive perception-shifting efforts that differentiate Microsoft in credible, compelling ways
