Senior Software Engineer

Microsoft is at the forefront of companies working to allow developers to seamlessly integrate advanced AI into a wide range of applications. Having a world-class research team and access to tons of data is required but not sufficient. As a company, we’re successful only when our algorithms and models can be consumed by developers across different domains, securely, and at scale. To achieve that, our organization is building a global, cloud-based platform that makes it easy to bring all of Microsoft’s intelligent capabilities to the market.

As a team we have a track record of building successful Azure services used by tens of thousands of customers across the world. We are proud of what we build and how we build it. We run lean, obsess about customers and use an evidence-based approach to decision making. Every single week we have many conversations with customers to keep our product grounded in customer value. We ship new bits continuously, so your work will impact customers in a few days, not months or years. We also have a strong service culture and run a great live site.

Our team consists of people from a wide variety of backgrounds, different professional and life experiences. We maintain and grow that diversity what makes us better at building the best solutions for our customers while having a blast doing it! Core to our team culture is the belief that you must have a ‘people-first’ approach to sustainably building and running 24x7 cloud services. This means we support each other to build things the right way, only work sane hours, enjoy our vacation time and take advantage of our paid parental leave!

This is a great opportunity for you take a next step in your career and be at the intersection of what Microsoft cares about most: Big Data, Cloud and AI – the three forces that are changing the world.
