Key Responsibilities

As a Systems Sr Engineer you'll work directly with a small team to deliver solutions that meet our customers requirements.  Every project will be a new challenge as you work with customers to achieve their goals.

  • Be able to work across the Dell portfolio of products - every day will bring a new opportunity to learn
  • You'll be responsible for the engineering work to deliver solutions that our customers request
  • In this role you'll be expected to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Creative problem solving skills - no customer request will be the same


  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in hardware design or systems design and a MSEE/CE or BSEE/CE
  • Extensive x86 system engineering experience in either the development of computer or storage systems through either an ODM relationship or through direct system design.
  • Experience in schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Experience with supplier management.
  • Strong ability in organize and manage multiple projects, set priorities and working independently under aggressive timelines.
  • Ability to write and analyze requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, and documentation.
  • Ability to work with Dell development teams across the different lines of business and with suppliers to develop custom solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
