The Data Analyst is responsible for collaboration, analysis, and data delivery with key internal business partners. This role requires independent thinking and actions in handling the payroll operations analysis and validations. The individual must be able to creatively think of ways to connect and combine large volumes of data from a variety of sources, create impactful dashboards, interact, filter, and mine data to share insights through timely and accurate information.  Determine process improvement actions, work with system integrations, develop plans, and implement those actions across end to end methodology.

  • Work with leadership to improve the operational systems, tools, analytics, and processes to support departmental goals
  • Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, evaluated through data and analytics
  • Work collaboratively between multiple departments to deliver integrated solutions
  • Evaluate, analyze, and deliver data that provides thoughtful and actionable recommendations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Develop, validate, and deploy customized reports and dashboards
  • Create and document application requirements for new or enhanced business requests
  • Thorough understanding of SQL and other data tools
  • Ability to create effective visualizations
  • Keeping abreast of new team processes and key software features and functionality, providing recommendations for process improvements
  • Keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on processes
  • Work with data analysts and scientists to organize and complete bodies of work that support not only payroll, but other organizational initiatives made up of several departments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst role
  • International payroll knowledge desired
  • Proficient to expert skill In SQL, experience with Oracle and Hive a plus
  • Strong background and work experience in SaaS environments preferred
  • Above average proficiency in MS Office, expert Excel user
  • Tableau, Qliksense, and SalesForce experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view
  • Persuasive with details and facts
  • High comfort level working in a diverse environment
  • Ensure high level of customer support and positive customer interactions
