Job Purpose (Job Summary):



Work with a Global team to implement Enterprise Workplace and Collaboration solutions.  Provide technical guidance in planning and implementing new solutions while ensuring existing platforms remain stable.  This position will focus on technologies and services such as the following but not limited to: Office 365 Design & Administration, Azure AD design and connectivity, migration of services to O365, MDM/MAM


Key Responsibilities / Duties: 


  • A key contributor to the team strategy, ensuring that strategy is in line with the business requirements and the Invesco Technology design principals

  • Assist Team members, Team Leader, and/or Manager to make sure the service portfolio remains current, highlighting areas requiring attention

  • Assist Team members, Team Leader, and/or Manager with problem management, investigation, resolution, and root cause analysis

  • When required, act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of an assigned activity; all the while adhering to Invesco Technology's project administration standards

  • Assist and mentor the less senior members of the EWC engineering team in any aspect of their strategic and operational roles

  • When required be able to present confidently in front of Senior Technology Leaders and Business Partners

  • Ensure operational standards are adhered to; this includes actively looking to continuously improve working practices to ensure the teams work as efficiently as possible as well as monitoring the health/effectiveness of the Engineering and Operations relationship

  • Regularly review the team’s procedures ensuring that any gaps are identified and resolved, including but not limited to Start of Day checks, Business Recovery, and overall operational skill level

  • Adhere to the design, implementation, and delivery our of BR obligations

  • Act as a technical point of contact to resolve escalated issues from Operations Teams

  • Demonstrate and deliver excellent service to all business partners at all times



Work Experience / Knowledge: 
  • 5+ years in an Office 365 Engineering role orequivalent Microsoft cloud services experience
  • Previousexperience in a Financial Services, highly pressured environment, essential
  • Mustpossess an up to date understanding of all Infrastructure technologies, goodtechnical knowledge of Microsoft Services with a clear focus on O365disciplines
  • Must have ability todiagnose and solve problems while maintaining professionalism and courtesy 
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectivelycommunicate at all technical levels
  • Beable to demonstrate commitment to exceptional client service
  • Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to understand and converse in English,verbally and in writing
  • Beable to work adhere to Invesco technical and operational procedures andpolicies
  • Thenecessary interpersonal skills to effectively interact and communicatethroughout the IT organization with individuals of varying technical abilities
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, approachable and people oriented

    • MDM(e.g. WorkspaceOne\Airwatch, InTune Device Management)

FormalEducation:  (minimum requirementto perform job duties)

  • Bachelor'sdegree preferred - in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, or related field

License/Registration/Certification: (minimum requirementto perform job duties)        

  • MCSE (or currentlyworking towards obtaining MCSE) preferred
Working Conditions:
  • Normal officeenvironment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures 
  • The ability to lift,carry or otherwise move objects of up to 30 pounds is also necessary 
  • Normally works aregular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project orassignment 
  • Hours may includeevenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by cellphone
