We are currently looking for a Manger, Quality Control to join the Thales team in Irvine, CA. 

The Manager, Quality Control is responsible for managing and directing the efforts and logistics of the Thales IFE Quality Control department. This includes oversight of Receiving Inspection (RI) and Outbound Inspection (QC).

Key Responsibilities:

•    The Manager of Quality Control (MQC) is responsible for the success of assigned functions within Thales IFEC, the Distribution Center, and Quality Control

•    Primarily, the MQC is responsible for site success through lean problem solving initiatives / techniques and proper team management

•    Development of continuous process improvement plans

•    Document and report on supplier quality issues through Root Cause Correct Actions (RCCA) 

•    Manage both Receiving Inspection (RI) and Outbound Inspection (QC) in accordance to Thales and 
•    FAA standards/requirements

Skills and Experience:

•    BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent; ten to twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    FAA Certification with part 21/43 background is preferred
