  • We have a fast-growing global team and need you to help us scale our IT systems and procedures. You’ll help us build our infrastructure as our first dedicated Systems Administrator. You will manage and improve our office network, hardware, and software to streamline your colleagues' experience while helping keep Scout secure.

    Why do we need you now? Scout’s revenue, customers, and employee base are growing rapidly, generating demand for scaled IT systems across the company. This will be a hands-on role for a talented individual who knows how to get things done. The best candidate for this role is a detail-oriented individual that not only likes to solve challenges, but also likes to take ownership of them.

    Where you'll contribute to our success:
    • Work closely with Security Officer, Devops, Engineering, and HR to continuously improve Scout’s security and employee experience
    • Provide Tech Support for Scout Employees Globally
    • Work closely with Scout team and assist them to ensure that all of their hardware is:
    • Properly provisioned
    • Devices follow Scout's Security Policy
    • Phones and computers are recorded as part of the inventory and properly tagged in System Manager.
    • Maintain and improve Scout Security Protocols by managing the following services:
    • Security Scans (Kolide)
    • User and Application Management (OneLogin)
    • VPN (Meraki, OpenVPN)
    • Security Policy Enforcements (Firewall)
    • Compliance Monitoring
    • AD Management
    • AV (Webroot)
    • Maintain and improve Scout office network and devices attached to the network:
    • Firewall Access Points
    • Scans for malware
    • Daily monitoring of Scout Network
    • Monitor production (dashboard reviews/checklists)
    Qualifications:
    • System Administration Skills
    • Mac

    • Firewall Meraki
    • General on prem networking skills
    • Office Security Skills
    • Network Scanning
    • Monitor for suspicious traffic
    • Familiarity with industry standard compliance certifications like ISO 27001, SSAE 16, NIST 800
    • Ability to thrive in a startup/fast-paced environment
