Compensation Range: 77,100-96,400 

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.  

Job Purpose

Our Renewable Energy Design group includes electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software engineers.  This position will report to our team in Bellingham, WA. This is a development engineering position which offers a significant opportunity for innovation and creativity. You will be working with a team to create photovoltaic charge controllers and grid tie inverters. 
 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Component selection
  • Component cost studies
  • Report generation
  • Collaborative work in a team environment
  • Provide technical support to Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Service, Purchasing, Quality, and other Engineering groups
     
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
  • Experience with electronics design and troubleshooting
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design software packages such as Altium Designer.
  • Good engineering communications and documentation skills.
  • The ability to work in a team environment on several projects at once.
  • Contribute to development and on-time execution of project schedules
  • Experience ensuring that electrical and electronic systems meet all product performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
