The Role: Agile & Graphic Design Consultant (Full-time)

Grade (relevant for internal applicants only): 08

The Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

The Team: The People team will be breaking down the internal functional walls, designing agile teams who will be responsible for key, prioritized projects to drive value to the business and respond to critical business needs. Like a consulting group, we will tackle ambiguous, unstructured problems and work with the People function and our business leaders to come to creative, innovation solutions. The Agile methodology will push teams to speed, engage the capabilities of the whole team and put people first in all we do.
 

The Impact: Along with being a part of the people agile projects, you will also have the opportunity to partner with the entire People Team in web designing, experience mapping, infographics, and strategy slide creation. At S&P; Global, digital design is centralized and works across People Agile projects, People Communications and People Strategy. You will also work with People Partners, People Services, Communications and the Chief People Officer to complete the work activities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain People’s role in designing and creating the employee experience, together with other areas that affect the complete employee lifecycle process and ‘moments that matter’
• Support People assessments and make recommendations taking into account employee experience, using techniques like Design Thinking and Prototyping
• Help update and implement People processes and use tools like Digital HR, Workday, Jive and Linkedin Learning
• Provide day-to-day advice, guidance and creation of web pages and format of content
• Expertise and creation of storytelling and PowerPoint slide creation for Strategy decks, CPO decks, Board decks, etc.
• Creation of infographics for enterprise wide communications
• Creation of experience and journey maps
• Digital design for posters, wallet cards, videos, blogs, etc.
 

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years’ relevant work experience

  • Analytical and reporting capabilities (Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity navigating web page applications (Jive, ServiceNow, HTML)

  • Familiarity with Wacom Pen tablet

  • Familiarity with customer and employee illustrative journey maps

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail

  • Time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile, People Strategy creation, Board Deck creation
