At the heart of our success is our team. We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Director of Advertising to lead and develop our advertising business across all markets.

This role will play a critical role in Omio’s success, as the ultimate objective is to guide our organisation to optimize and grow our advertising revenue while delivering unique and innovative advertising solutions in partnership with key players in the online travel industry.

The role is based in our Berlin office and will report to our Chief Commercial Officer.

Your role

  • Own, build, lead and execute on Omio growth, revenue strategy, and targets for advertising product; focusing on Agency advertising and Partners’ advertising across all markets and verticals
  • Partner with a dedicated engineering and product organisation to build and scale new and unique ad formats
  • Drive and lead new business development efforts: create new relationships, originate, negotiate and close advertising deals
  • Ensure the team is delivering the highest level of sales and customer service to our advertising clients
  • Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers
  • Partner with other teams across the organisation and product and technical teams to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers, including campaign delivery, sales, operations, product development and billing
  • Define and achieve ambitious performance targets

What you bring to the table

  • 7+ years of experience selling digital advertising for technology platforms
  • Success record and ability to originate, negotiate and implement high value commercial partnerships
  • History of delivery working cross-functionally
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced degree in business or a related field (preferably an MBA)
  • Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus
