Compass is expanding in technology and geographic reach and looking for a Data Analyst. The ideal person will have the opportunity to impact one of the biggest decisions that every single consumer across the world must make -- where to live. In particular, our Data Analyst will oversee all of the real estate and other related information underlying every one of our consumer-facing products and the proprietary tools that are part of our Agent Suite.


At Compass You Will

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and measure the right KPIs for each feature team and ensure those KPIs are well communicated across the organization
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to inform product strategy and evaluate recent product releases
  • Explore our data through user segmentation, cohort analysis, funnels, regression models, etc. to drive a better shared understanding of user behavior
  • Partner with engineering and business intelligence teams to implement, document, validate, and monitor our logging and metrics
  • Support product feature teams by building and maintaining dashboards and visualizations that drive actionable insights 

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field 
  • 2+ years experience in a quantitative analysis role
  • Self-driven mindset - knows not only how to answer questions, but will propose the right questions to ask
  • Has worked with large datasets and is capable of summarizing key findings to appropriate stakeholders
  • Very comfortable with SQL and Excel (experience with Business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau is a plus)
