The Role:

Morning Consult is looking for an extremely organized, business-oriented Product Operations Manager to help increase the velocity with which we build and release new products. This role requires flexibility and the willingness to get your hands dirty on a variety of different products and projects: from serving as a liaison to commercial teams on internal product updates, to analyzing data that supports feature development for our Brand Intelligence product. Regardless of the task, ideal candidates should be relentlessly focused on increasing internal team efficiency in ways that enable their colleagues to thrive. 

Success in this role requires a service-oriented mindset, adaptive communication skills, and the ability to maintain a strategic focus amidst competing priorities. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environment is a must. 

As an early member of Morning Consult’s product team, those in this role are empowered to think creatively, take expansive ownership over projects, and implement ideas that positively shape the team’s growth and trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to technical teams as they execute development work, such as facilitating sprints, assigning follow-ups, and tracking execution against those tasks
  • Unblock people and teams by assisting with a variety of projects, whether technical or strategic
  • Work with product managers to establish and execute outreach plan for product launches
  • Create, maintain, and update resources that facilitate successful products, from internal methodology FAQs to client-facing product documentation
  • Create product training materials and conduct trainings with Commercial and internal teams 
  • Proactively identify and advocate for continuous improvement across product and tech teams
