Based in New York City, the Wealth Management Intermediaries Segment Marketing Associate will be a key member of the Invesco WMI Marketing team. The ideal candidate will need to immerse themselves in understanding and addressing the needs of the diverse group of clients, which consists of nearly 300,000 advisors across various wealth management firms, as well as the asset management structure that strives to get these wealth management intermediaries the solutions, information and tools they need, where and when they need them. This position provides visibility with key stakeholders and leaders and presents a great opportunity to learn about marketing, the asset and wealth management industries, and grow within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with team members to execute marketing campaigns that target intermediary audiences
  • Support the development and maintenance of content and programs across business consulting/practice management, client education, and product/portfolio solutions
  • Partner with colleagues across the firm (Sales, Legal, Public Relations, Advertising, Creative, Editorial, Digital, Social Media, Events, Product, etc.) to execute marketing initiatives
  • Evaluate sales, market, and client engagement metrics and proactively engage partners to improve methods of identifying, targeting and fulfilling client needs, surface new opportunities for the promotion of content and resources.
  • Learn and educate themselves to better understand their clients, the business and the organization
  • Effectively execute marketing plans by asking questions of colleagues and reading content from internal and external product experts and thought leaders, attending educational seminars, collaborating with partners
  • Organize, manage and execute across multiple priorities and projects to bring campaigns to completion
  • Measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness by working with Reporting and Analytics Teams to test and learn and continually optimize marketing efforts


Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Up to 3 years prior experience in a marketing, finance or sales role preferred
  • General understanding of investments or the wealth or asset management industries preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with modern marketing techniques or trends across content creation and promotion, digital, social, multi-media, events/webinars, brand advertising, PR, data analytics, and/or sales enablement

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Bachelor's degree required
