We’re looking for a talented, highly motivate sales professional who will be responsible for driving Stryker’s ‘Sage’ business in the territory of Yorkshire & North East (Sheffield, Leeds, Hull, York, Sunderland & Newcastle)
You will be working as part of a high calibre, performance driven sales team, who’s passion for improving outcomes help make the lives of patients and the people who care for them, better.
What you will be doing:
Developing an effective territory sales strategy to maintain existing business, as well as driving growth with new sales opportunities.
Delivering annual sales targets as well as other key performance objectives
Building strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in the NHS or private medical sector; these include, Tissue Viability, infection control, Speach and language therapists, Nursing staff as well as Procurement and Finance professionals
Conducting product demonstrations and training for clinical staff
Reporting on your sales activities on a regular basis to the RSM
Attending and participating in key professional congresses and events
Maintaining and acquiring new product, technology, market knowledge
Experience
Degree Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration or Biology or another relevant, advanced degree (desired)
Proven track record of success in sales within the NHS (desired) or in other industries
Experience in customer acquisition and proven ability to grow new business (essential)
Knowledge and experience in a commercial sales background
Relationship building skills, has to be a natural relationship builder
Computer skills, MS Office
Very good written and spoken English
Presentation skills with modern presentation media
Must live within the defined territory, this is a field-based sales role, therefore involves a significant amount of travel
