Verisign enables the security, stability, and resiliency of key internet infrastructure and services,and provides registration services and authoritative resolution for the .com and .net top-level domains, which support the majority of global e-commerce.

The Sr. Technical Recruiting provides full-life cycle recruiting for Verisign by identifying and recruiting high quality candidates,collaborating with department managers on a regular basis, and proactively identify and attract top candidates using multiple sourcing techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting to support multiple client groups to include technical and corporate roles
  • Develop strong client relationships and act as an advisor to hiring managers and interview teams
  • Use creative sourcing techniques to attract active and passive candidates
  • Conduct interviews and filter candidates for open positions by assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Stay current on market trends, diversity recruiting, and utilizing data to perform analyses to identify current and future talent needs
  • Identify and attract qualified and diverse candidate pools
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting activities
  • Stay current on federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Create weekly and monthly recruiting activity reports
QUALIFICATIONS

Requirement:

  • Minimum 8 years of recruiting with an emphasis on technical roles
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) Systems
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and search tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean search strings, Connectifier, Job Posting websites, using databases, social media, networks, colleges, technical schools, job fairs, trade and professional associations, search firms, and employment agencies)
  • Strong interviewing skills
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting concepts, trends, and diversity recruiting
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience with diversity recruiting is preferred
