S&P Global Ratings plays a vital role in bringing transparency and comparability to the financial markets and helps investors and others measure and manage credit risk.
Responsibilities:
Be the primary analyst of a portfolio of diverse financial institutions.
Perform rigorous analytical work, research, fundamental credit analysis, analysis of financial statements, building of financial models and forecasts, and writing analytical reports on financial institutions.
Ongoing surveillance and rating recommendations.
Maintain analytical contact with rated entities´ senior management, and presentation of analytical findings to internal and external constituencies.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications
+ 3 years of experience analyzing financial institutions.
Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of the analysis of financial statements of financial institutions.
Proficiency with figures and the ability to maintain accuracy and be detail oriented while complying with deadlines.
Ability to prepare forecasts based upon reasoned assumptions.
Solid communication skills, verbal and written, as well as the capacity to expand, learn, and contribute.
Fluent command of English Language is essential.
Bachelor in Economics, Accounting, Actuary or similar.
Solid, demonstrable credit analysis experience, especially, analyzing financial institutions.
Superb, in-depth understanding of financial statement analysis.
