Position SummaryFocused on helping achieve the Finance Shared Services mission of serving the business accurately, efficiently, and politely with the vision to operate silently in the background so the business can maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will be curious, analytical, and confident, with a natural drive to exceed immediate project requirements. A genuine passion for Transformation, combined with relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills will be key to success.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with internal finance customers and technology team members to deliver process and technology improvements.
Build collaborative relationships between Finance Transformation and internal customers
Understand the functionality of various ERP systems and how they support transformation.
Evaluate current global finance processes and apply expertise to drive simplification and standardization through automation.
Provide project management and administrative support for project plan’s, process documentation, presentations for leadership, prioritization schedules etc.
Perform other activities as assigned
Adhere to department policies, procedures, and expectations
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics, information systems/technology, computer science, math, or a related field)
Experience:
Minimum 6 years professional experience in Shared Services or an Accounting environment (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, or Close to Report), including at least 2 years in a leadership role
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Oracle, and an aptitude to learn new computer programs
Ability to research and analyze business processes and technologies, develop plans and reports, identify and recommend alternatives, and use appropriate support and/or illustrative software to guide finance transformation
Customer service mindset with the ability to respond to complaints from internal or external sources and resolve conflict through change management
Demonstrated analytical skills and an inquisitive mind (including ability to ask curious questions and gather, compile, interpret & analyze data quickly)
Demonstrated communication skills (including active listening, writing, and emotional intelligence)
Detail oriented with demonstrated administrative and organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Up to 10% global travel is possible.
