This position is responsible for develop and implement local sales and marketing strategies to achieve the goals and sales target for Medical product. He / She will lead a team for Medical market development and is responsible for ensuring that the P&L budget is achieved.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)
Leadership & People Development:
Develop appropriate sales targets and regularly conduct 1:1 KPI reviews with Sales managers.
Drive employee engagement to ensure BU is motivated to achieve set goals and objectives.
Continuously enhance sales force capability by proactively recruiting and developing outstanding sales talents.
Lead and manage the P&L to meet BU budget:
Determine and implement the appropriate sales models, by geographical region, city or account, to maximize revenue and profit.
Conduct weekly forecasting and monthly projections and be accountable for the overall sales and business performance, including profit and loss of the BU.
Create, direct, and lead the development and execution of the sales strategies for specific product line.
Internal control and approval of expenditure & general administration.
Responsible for managing sales&marketing&engineering aspects of the BU to establish and maintain market leadership position in the country for the individual product lines.
Attend industrial conferences to meet customers and visit key opinion leaders to promote Stryker.
Investigate & develop new business opportunities, establish & maintain contact with key hospital executives, decision makers and medical staff to ensure that Stryker is fulfilling their expectations & to become aware of emerging growth opportunities.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure BU compliance with Stryker policies and government regulations.
Education & Experience:
Degree holder in medicine, medical, or sales and marketing related area
At least 8 years sales & marketing experience, with hands on managerial experience.
Good oral and written English
Proven record in sales management, and key account management.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent problem solving & interpersonal skills
Results-oriented with good negotiation &communications skill
Strong business sense
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key business relationships internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment.
