The GCP Sales Executive, is a true subject matter expert with an attitude and passion for driving our Solutions & Services propositions into our current account base & prospects.
The GCP Sales Executive is expected to take a consistently proactive approach to growing, the aligned customer accounts, and new logos. They are the GCP & Cloud Services subject matter lead in sales customer engagements and are responsible for account planning, qualifying and driving opportunities through the full sales cycle to close.
The GCP Sales Executive also serves as the liaison between the assigned AM and technical pre-sales team and customers for new Solution & Services opportunities, supporting effective & efficient handover into delivery & customer success resources. Working with the aligned country and federation Sales & Services leadership team, the sales executive functions in a partnership with the primary Account Manager (AM) and as a result is not limited to traditional “overlay role” restrictions.

Core Accountabilities:
- Drive new business sales activities at a customer level partnering with the Account Manager (AM) within the existing regional account base as well as hunting new logos.
- Manage the sales lifecycle from opportunity qualification through to ‘closed won’
- Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes and overcome objections in order to maximize opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts
- Collaborate with our technical teams to ensure our solutions align with customer requirements
- Prepares cost estimates, proposals & appropriate contracts for solutions & services sales
- Meet and exceed sales targets
