Within the Business Unit Electrical Products (EP) we are shaping the future of all products and technologies for a smart electrical infrastructure that is seamlessly integrated in connected, efficient, and sustainable eco-systems! We are looking for a Tool & Die Technician. The Tool & Die Technician reports to the Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer of the area, with dotted lines to the Fabrication Excellence Manager.


Key Elements In this Role:

  • Must be able to read mechanical drawings
  • Operation of manual lathes, mills and surface grinder
  • Must be able to use measuring tools such as calipers, OD mics, bore mics, etc.
  • Must be able to identify basic materials
  • Welding Skills MIG/TIG – A Plus, but not required
  • Perform quality checks using handheld gauges, calipers, and micrometers
  • Ability to maintain production schedule and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently on assigned tasks without supervision
  • Investigate root causes of problems with tools, equipment

This position will be working directly with Manufacturing / Industrial Engineers, Shop Floor Group Leaders, Coordinators, Materials, Quality, Safety, Engineering and Management.
