We are looking for a Tool & Die Technician. The Tool & Die Technician reports to the Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer of the area, with dotted lines to the Fabrication Excellence Manager.
Key Elements In this Role:
- Must be able to read mechanical drawings
- Operation of manual lathes, mills and surface grinder
- Must be able to use measuring tools such as calipers, OD mics, bore mics, etc.
- Must be able to identify basic materials
- Welding Skills MIG/TIG – A Plus, but not required
- Perform quality checks using handheld gauges, calipers, and micrometers
- Ability to maintain production schedule and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently on assigned tasks without supervision
- Investigate root causes of problems with tools, equipment
