powertofly approved What BuzzFeed Has to Offer:

BuzzFeed literally helped PowerToFly get off the ground. They were one of our first hiring partners when we launched about four years ago. On top of that, their executives backed us as angel investors. Both Jonah Peretti, BuzzFeed's Founder and CEO, and Greg Coleman, BuzzFeed's President, wrote checks to turn our dream into a reality (and they continue to advise our founders, an unmeasurable value). We also got significant seed funding from two of BuzzFeed's board members - Ken Lerer and Eric Hippeau.

Needless to say, BuzzFeed is completely invested in making PowerToFly a success, and that means hiring more women through the platform. BuzzFeed has certainly done that. Countless women have been hired by BuzzFeed through PowerToFly like Paola Matta who started out as an English Major before writing code.

BuzzFeed tech teams take pride in designing elegant solutions to challenging problems, creating quality software, and promoting best practices for writing maintainable, well-tested code. We build for scale and support millions of users globally by default. BuzzFeed products and content distribution have grown massively in the past few years both within our editorial teams and products.

The Revenue Infrastructure team is looking for an experienced engineering manager who can lead a team, contribute independently, and work with peers from other disciplines including Product, Design, Data Science, and Infrastructure to deliver great products. BuzzFeed’s engineering team runs a lean, iterative development process where we deploy early and often.

You will be responsible for owning a wide range of services that help enable our business stakeholders execute on campaigns efficiently, data pipelines and API’s that power both internal and consumer facing services, and create solutions that leverage big data and tech to ultimately impact the bottom line of the entire organization.

We’d love for you to join us on this journey 🚀!
