    We are looking for a talented, ambitious and passionate Director to join our award-winning and expanding team in London. Our Digital practice helps fuel growth and innovation within FTI's global strategic communications division and we are proud to work with some of the largest, best known and most innovative companies across the world.     Our Director will support the management and growth of a portfolio of high-profile corporate clients, motivating a committed and enthusiastic team and developing innovative strategies and programmes to support business development. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of managing large, complex client accounts. We value creativity and lateral thinking and you will need to show both creative flair and a passion for helping clients navigate a complex and challenging stakeholder world.

    A polished and articulate presenter, you will be at home both planning pitches and delivering presentations to diverse and exacting audiences, including senior leaders of global businesses. Directors are self-starters and able to work in isolation, but similarly fantastic at bringing together and motivating diverse teams to deliver on complex projects and new business opportunities. As part of the role you will be required to support team networking both inside and outside the firm, particularly where the team is focussed on operating as a centre of excellence across the region.

    Strategic thinking is a must and you will work with senior colleagues to originate and implement programmes that are effective across multiple channels and platforms. You will be responsible for identifying trends within the communications landscape and will demonstrate best practice in areas such as integrated communications planning, issues and crisis management, social media performance and influencer relations. An ability to advise on what good looks like in relation to data, measurement, website development and digital marketing is also highly desirable.

    Our work in the digital practice includes communications strategy planning, issues and crisis communications, influencer identification and outreach, content & channel strategy, paid social and thought-provoking digital campaigns so you will need to be adaptable and able to offer consultancy on a very broad range of communications disciplines and competencies.

    Digital is forcing many of our clients to consider new forms of communications and reputation management and we are at the forefront of managing that change.


  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including strong ability to convey technical language as appropriate for the audience

  • Track record in supporting or leading successful new business initiatives

  • Ability to demonstrate taking ownership and accountability for large, complex client relationships

  • Previous experience of working on creative and intelligent campaigns and handling challenging issues

  • Able to ensure proposals are supported by strong logic and a compelling business case at all times

  • Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork

  • Commercially astute and aware of the requirement for client profitability and managing servicing levels

  • Track record of seeking out ways to improve upon and grow service offerings and supporting/leading business development

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree at 2:1 level or higher (or equivalent)
