You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and recommending business processes across all company disciplines, acquiring and designing system requirements, testing and delivering business applications with an emphasis on supporting real estate, sales, inventory management, billing, receivables, business analytics and customer e-business software. This role seeks to achieve the appropriate balance between the speed and efficiency of execution with the longer term quality, stability and supportability for the applications that support our business. Customers of the systems include employees with sales, fulfillment, billing, finance, and real estate related responsibilities and third party e-commerce users. The third party users can include both direct access clients and integration with ad buying exchanges.
The position will be responsible for following best in class project management practices inclusive of business process review, providing prioritization recommendations, project planning, scoping, timelines, communication matrices, and close out/launch processes. An understanding of the media landscape is critical, including insight on current market trends, social platforms, ad serving platforms, digital content distribution landscape, and data. Activity will be closely aligned with the strategies and designs of the organization to achieve a holistic view of the company’s applications and services.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally and collaboratively to support product development and life cycle IT management activities. This role provides guidance to project management team to ensure consistent and effective project management leadership of application development team, including providing technical and strategic guidance and expertise during reviews of project strategies and deliverables. The incumbent will contribute to the long-term strategy and development of the department and to the consistent execution of strategy to advance OUTFRONT’s technical capabilities to internal and external clients.
Other key responsibilities include:
Apply a strong bias for execution and the ability to translate strategy into action in overseeing and managing the operational aspects of the Enterprise program which includes multiple ongoing projects in support of major, corporate strategic initiatives.
Serve as central coordinating body between internal and external partners, using strong negotiation, relationship management and communication skills to ensure parties are appropriately informed, engaged and driving desired results in support of strategic initiatives
Oversee the development, implementation, and documentation of common procedures that can be applied cross-functionally, ensuring adherence to corporate and business unit standards and procedures.
Identify project interdependencies and ensure stakeholders understand and operate with these interdependencies in mind.
Review project status and ensure progress is in line with overall program goals.
Develop and manage planning across initiatives.
Lead a team in analyzing, planning, operating, enhancing, and sustaining the portfolio of business applications and processes for OUTFRONT.
