Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in sales and/or digital marketing.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and customizing experience to a customer base.
  • Experience or interest in sales, customer support, account management, marketing or consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently while leading, motivating and working well with others.
  • Interest in working toward assigned goals.

As a Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Account Strategist, you'll focus on strengthening long-term relationships with our managed GCS customers, as well as driving scalable product adoption and growth across the broader portfolio of agency-managed accounts. We are focused on empowering small and medium-sized businesses with advertising solutions and other Google technologies - all toward the goal of driving business for our customers and partners. You will gain exposure to Google products and people while identifying and implementing solutions that best suit the unique needs of our GCS customers.

Our teams of strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends. In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of GCS businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunity for growth, managing risks and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Collaborate within the Sales team, aligning workflow among team members to execute on plan and ensure accountability to meet or exceed goals while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer experience.
  • Communicate with customers proactively via phone, email and in person. Share and collaborate with Specialists and Product team members on new feature development.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships, tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Identify key client stakeholders and consult with customers proactively on calls and in person to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
