Job Purpose (Job Summary):
To provide leadership as a program manager for marketing activation projects. These projects will help drive new capabilities and enablement within marketing through the activation of an optimized marketing technology stack to drive stated business objectives and results. The program manager is responsible for direction, coordination, implementation, reporting, control and completion of the projects for activating platforms, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization and marketing.


Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Regarding technology project and marketing tools and platform expansion projects:
  • Diagnose, prioritize and communicate business processes or organizational problems
  • Plan, and implement projects’ scope, goals and deliverables related to
  • Create a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Track deliverables, monitor and report on project progress and key risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project document and status updates
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate techniques
  • Recommend and implement changes, and ensure a successful transition to new features within the marketing technology being activated
  • Partner with business and technology to scope and implement operational improvements and perform analysis to inform project work plans and completion
  • Initiate/recommend and project manage cross-functional projects and see them through completion
  • Partner/Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects
  • Evaluate and assess results of marketing platform activation projects
  • Evaluate existing and develop new procedures and system recommendation

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated project management knowledge or experience
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
  • Practical knowledge of creating detailed cost / benefit analysis
  • Experience capturing and documenting business functional requirements and specifications
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and use of structured business analysis techniques
  • Experience analyzing business or technical problems and proposing and implementing solutions
  • Technology literate with exceptional knowledge of Salesforce.com marketing ecosystem and Microsoft suite of products
  • Experience working with technology partners on implementation work plans
  • Broad knowledge of systems and business processes used for sales enablement
  • Experience working in an agile scrum environment preferred
  • Interest in pursuing the PMP designation and technology certifications such as Salesforce (if not already acquired)

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • All majors considered

License/Registration/Certification: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Project management qualification (PMP) certification preferred
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred
  • Adobe, Google Analytics, Marketo certifications a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures
  • The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary
  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Frequency and duration to be determined by manager
