Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, customer support, account management, or digital media.
  • Ability to speak and write English and Cantonese fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in tech, telco and/or e-commerce industries in Hong Kong.
  • Ability to think long-term without compromising near-term priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Account Manager, you'll help to provide and execute integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions focusing on the tech, telco and e-commerce verticals. You will grow business with Google’s key advertisers and manage business relationships to ensure that clients' needs and requirements are met. You will serve as their advocate within Google while collaborating with other Google teams to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options. This is a client-facing role requiring industry expertise, digital advertising knowledge, track record in sales with the ability to implement and execute on proposed solutions.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships with key client decision-makers, including C-level executives, to grow existing customers.
  • Form strategic business plan for key accounts to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for key accounts by providing ongoing strategic and optimization consultation.
  • Use data, insights and market intelligence to identify opportunities and guide strategy and implementation of Google's advertising solutions.
