Desired Skills/ Experience/ Background:

  • Working with Customers to Analyze Customer Deployment Architectures, Network Topologies and Test Plans.
  • Extracting Customer Use Cases from requirements and converting to test plans.
  • Analyzing Device Level configuration for routers and switches provided by Customer and replicating a test environment.
  • Working with Development Functional and System Test Teams to analyze Test coverage and gaps.
  • Writing System Test Plans and Creating Automation Scripts for Multi-dimensional Coverage.
  • Executing PDT Test Plans and debugging for problems.
  • Performing RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to identify Use Case Coverage gaps.
  • Test Automation Frameworks, tools and scripting languages (Perl, Python) a must.
  • Clear communication on test results and gaps.
  • 8+ year experience in test labs for solution tests and networking infrastructure.
  • Experience in Metro Deployments are a plus.
  • Preferably have experience with JUNOS.
  • Networking Certifications are a plus.
  • Supporting cloud providers, data centers and virtualization is highly desirable.
  • Customer network design and customer network operation.
  • Ability to work as a member of a multifunctional team.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, can-do attitude.
  • Collaborative team player, relationship building skills, influential leadership.
  • BS degree or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead End to End Solution testing  which could include scale testing, migration testing in multi-dimensional testing to  qualify the product to be delivered in the customer environment.
  • Work with Customers to Analyze Customer Deployment Architectures, Network Topologies, Configs  and Test Plans.
  • Extract Customer Use Cases from requirements and test plans.
  • Participate in design and information gathering workshops with the Customer to understand the Customer’s existing solution designs and technical requirements of new solution designs.
  • Design test plans based on customer solution requirements.
  • Execute test cases and create automation scripts.
  • Produce a written summary report of the status of Design projects, equipment and network problems on a regular basis to the Customer.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and document issues and work with appropriate Juniper engineering resources to close problems to customer’s satisfaction.
  • Assist Creating Test Automation Frameworks, identifying tools and scripting languages.
  • Hold technical meetings with the Customer to discuss and provide results of  PDT testing.
  • Communicate effectively with customer, account team and other internal stakeholders on overall testing and Test status.

Must have expertise on:

  • Routers/Switches/Security Devices, and Strong IP Networking Fundamentals.
  • Automation, scripting in either Python/Perl/Robot framework
