Hitachi Energy is currently looking for Manufacturing Quality Control for the Transformers Business to join their team in Vadodara, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.

Mission Statement:
Manufacturing Quality Control work includes: Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Testing random samples of finished goods. Reporting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods and liaising with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Your responsibilities
Manufacturing Quality Control Para-Professional work includes: -
Preparing transformer/shunt reactor for testing which includes fixing of terminal connector, earthing cables, OLTC supply etc. but not limited to.
Maintenance of testing equipment on routine basis., Connection of no-load, load loss., Connection for impulse testing.
Oil sampling from unit for DGA as and when required.
Using MEWP (JLG) for connection purpose while taking care of HSE requirements. Fixing of corona shields on bushings.
Co-ordination with DGA lab for testing of DGA. Co-ordination with third party during calibration of equipment.
Shifting of equipment from one test lab to another as and when required.
Keeping 5 S in test lab as per Hitachi standards.
Thermocouple connection for temperature rise test.
Will be required to do night shift for heat run test as per requirement.
Connection of fans and pumps for heat run test as required.
Adhere to HSE requirements during activity carried out.
Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or output against defined internal and regulatory standards.

Your Background
Diploma in Electrical.
Around 2 to 8 years of experience of Transformer manufacturing industry reference.
Testing active part in manufacturing while taking care of HSE.
May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision.
Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
