Job Details

Your responsibilities:

  • You develop new technologies and products for high-voltage components as part of the R&D team and R&D global organization.
  • You lead product and process development projects self-driven on time, on budget and on quality.
  • You analyze the existing epoxy formulations and provide fundamental knowledge about chemical systems and their use
  • You assess production processes and proactively identify gaps and areas of improvement
  • You organize prototyping and testing activities to validate new technologies and new products
  • You document and transfer your knowledge and findings from R&D to production environment both locally and in other facilities abroad
  • You provide technical support in domain of expertise to other departments when needed (product management, business development, marketing and sales, engineering…)
  • You stay up to date with the latest technology solutions, international standards, market trends and customer requirements relating to transformer high voltage bushings
  • You maintain close collaboration with suppliers to ensure raw material quality and perfect fit to the needs of R&D and the factories
  • You are aware of HSE aspects and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

You background:

  • Minimum Master level education in polymer engineering or similar.
  • More than 2 years of working, experience in large organization is considered a plus.
  • Strong background and hands on working experience in epoxy resin and processing, including lab scale up to prototyping, ideally in a factory environment
  • Deep knowledge about reaction kinetics as well as casting and curing processes of composite materials and filled epoxy systems.
  • Practical knowledge of the full material characterization methods (thermal, mechanical, processing).
  • Solid track record as project leader.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office, statistical and simulation tools.
  • Responsible team player with structured, proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented work approach.
  • Spirit of innovation, "out of the box" thinking.
  • Proficiency in English language.
