ABOUT YOUR ROLE 

As an Assistant Production Artist Manager, you manage a growing Production Artist team in Nansha, which is one of our biggest site globally. You are responsible to the Production Artists assigned to customer teams or any artwork related tasks. This role will lead the team to provide best-in-class execution of production art and image handling in alignment with the process and standards established. The team should demonstrate consistency in all procedures and maintain a high degree of accuracy, responsiveness and flexibility to internal and external customers.


As we continue to build up our team the capabilities and to grow, this role will support and drive different strategic projects and initiatives, for example, Strategic Digital Customer Experience Initiatives including Digital Samples, Garment Design software integration, CPQ, and etc. This role is going to work across different functions and external partners to drive productivity and efficiency.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Oversee the completeness and consistent information flow for new item/program or changes from Customer/Commercial/global coordinator to process owners (business units, Global Program Deployment (GPD), Data Solution, Production).
  • Monitor Daily Execution, Ensure timely delivery of artworks to GPD, sales and/or customers. - Monitor individual PA's workload and performances. Conduct Performance Review within the team.
  • Supervise a team of PA to execute artwork creation and related tasks based on the requirements from customer (including Commercials, Data Solutions and GPD.
  • Direct artwork request to the appropriate Production Art groups based on capabilities, capacity, cycle time requirements, etc.
  • Help setting up target to the team and build action related to that areas.
  • Motivate, coach and develop team members for achieving service reliability and quality targets.
  • Ensure efficient flow of production artworks to Data Solution and Production.
  • Critical thinking, Big Picture, End-to-End Thinking Process to Drive Improvement, Preventive Measures and Crisis Management.
  • Engage to function teams on discussions, collaborations and alignments.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

  • Strong leadership skill and with good business acumen.
  • Creative aptitude.
  • Strong aptitude in handling details, control and monitoring performance and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Experience in being people leader and team management.
  • Experience in Project management.
  • Proficiency in design software would be in advantage (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Substance, Photoshop, etc.).

EDUCATION

  • Degree holder in Design, Business or Operations Management (or related field) or equivalent experience.
